SEC players headline NCAA 2014 player ratings

Johnny Manziel isn’t the top rated overall player on EA Sports’ NCAA 2014. His slippery, electrifying self wasn’t enough to persuade whoever rates players at EA Sports for the year’s new game. He has a little more coaxing to do.

Jadeveon Clowney is the only 99 overall in the game.

The top 15 players, as measured by player ratings, were released earlier today, and the SEC had three players in the top five and six in the top 10.

  1. How is Donte Moncrief not rated in that area? He burnt every defender that covered him including first and second round draft picks? Who the hell is Jonathan Banks or Maurice Claiborne?

  2. How is Vanderbuilt the last ranked team in the SEC? Even behind Kentucky?
