The SEC’s opening week slate is an out-of-conference extravaganza, with multiple big-time sexy matchups that will perk your interest.

Several game times were announced today as follows for Thursday night and Saturday:

South Carolina vs. North Carolina
When: August 29th at 6 PM ET
Where: Columbia, South Carolina
TV: ESPN

Ole Miss vs. Vanderbilt
When: August 29th at 9:15 PM ET
Where: Nashville, Tennessee
TV: ESPN

Georgia vs. Clemson
When: August 31st at 8 PM ET
Where: Clemson, South Carolina
TV: ABC

LSU vs. TCU
When: August 31st at 9 PM ET
Where: Cowboys Stadium (Arlington)
TV: ESPN

Alabama vs. Virginia Tech
When: August 31st at 5:30 PM ET
Where: Georgia Dome (Atlanta)
TV: ESPN

  2. Jon, any thoughts on where Gameday ends up?

    • Whoever is in charge of picking GameDay. Good luck. I would certainly head to Clemson with two top 10 teams squaring off in essentially what could be an elimination game.

  3. Agree, the UGA/Clemson is the best match up but the other games are on ESPN already which may factor into the decision. The thought of Herbstreit/Musberger on ABC sickens every Dawg fan…..much prefer Lundquist/Danielson and CBS.
