The SEC is just a couple months on the south side of a record-setting NFL Draft, which saw 63 total players picked. Each division had as many or more picks than every other conference.

The NFL’s famed Top 100 was released earlier this year, and 17 former SEC players made the list, not including Aaron Hernandez or former Texas A&M and Missouri players.

Georgia had the most selections with six, followed by Tennessee with three. Here’s the entire list in order, with a team breakdown below:

  • This list is frustrating at first for a Dawg fan. Twice as many players as the next team and three times as many as Bama, but no MNC’s to show for it. When you look closer, however, the UGA players played over a span of many years, so I guess we just haven’t had the right combination at the right time. And, yes, poor coaching is also to blame to an extent.
