You knew it was coming, but wasn’t everyone hoping for a show featuring Johnny Manziel first?
Former Alabama quarterback (and soon-to-be NFL quarterback) AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb will star in a reality TV show leading up to their wedding, which will also be on TV on July 11.
“They’ve already started filming during the proposal,” said Katherine’s sister, Laurie Webb, according to theplainsman.com. “From what I understood, it came from someone else. I don’t think they were trying to get into a reality show, I think they just had the opportunity and decided to take it.”
According to Katherine’s mom, networks started contacting the couple after the BCS Championship Game, where Brent Musburger did more for Webb than any agent could have ever done. The crew won’t film every day, only when something is interesting. Reality TV at its finest, although no network has been chosen yet.
Since the wedding is set to air July 11, it will be before the season and hopefully will not be a distraction for McCarron’s rookie year.
We can only hope Brent Musburger officiates the wedding.
