Arkansas linebacker AJ Turner is transferring to Arkansas State, according to WholeHogSports.com.

Turner missed the 2013 season due to a wrist injury, but he was an All-Freshman performer in 2012, making 53 tackles. Turner is one of four Hogs to transfer after the 2013 season, joining CB Ray Buchanan, RB Nate Holmes and LB Myke Tavarress. Turner was a great looking young prospect, and the Hogs could have used him this past season.

One thing Arkansas has to improve through recruiting is the size of their linebackers. The problem is they’re undersized and had trouble matching up against bigger physical running teams.
