LSU is set to hire Kentucky’s safeties coach and special teams coordinator Bradley Dale Peveto, according to multiple reports. Peveto will become LSU’s new special teams coordinator. He will replace Thomas McGaughey, who left for the New York Jets.

Peveto coached at LSU from 2005-08. He was the special teams coordinator from 2005-07, and he was the co-defensive coordinator in 2008 before leaving to become Northwestern State’s head coach in 2009.

Peveto also coached in the SEC at Arkansas as the linebackers coach from 1994-95. He was a defensive back at SMU from 1982-86.

Peveto was Kentucky’s third highest paid assistant coach at $300,000 annually, behind both coordinators.
