The Cleveland Browns finally were able to lure a new head coach in Mike Pettine to take over the team after they fired their head coach after just one season. What a dumpster fire!
LSU OC Cam Cameron was linked to the vacant offensive coordinator job, and he confirmed the Browns did reach out to him this past week. He also confirmed he is not a candidate for the job anymore, via NOLA.com.
“I don’t plan on going anywhere soon,” Cameron said. “I don’t want to uproot my family right now.”
Cameron transformed LSU’s offense from being very mediocre to very explosive and arguably the most balanced offense in the country. He also transformed Zach Mettenberger into a potential NFL quarterback. LSU became the first team in SEC history to have a 3,000-yard passer, 1,000-yard rusher and two 1,000-yard receivers.

Cameron staying in Baton Rouge is great for Anthony Jennings, who takes over the reins from Mettenberger. LSU needs Cameron, especially after so much talent will be gone on offense next season.
