Ole Miss’ Channing Ward pleads guilty to DUI

Ole Miss defensive end Channing Ward plead guilty to DUI, according to WCBI.com.

The report says Ward was arrested on January 19th and charged with DUI, no proof of insurance and a proper equipment malfunction due to a taillight being out.

Because of the conviction, Ward was sentenced to attend Mississippi Alcohol Substance Abuse Program and Victims Impact classes and was fined $1,451 for the DUI and no proof of insurance.

The former five-star looks to become a breakout player in 2014, and he recorded 24 tackles and one sack this past season.
