According to CBSSports.com, Dan Mullen and Mississippi State have agreed on a contract extension through the 2017-18 season.

Mullen currently makes $3 million per season, and he’s guided MSU to four straight bowl appearances. Overall, he’s 36-28, and he has a very veteran team returning in what could be Mississippi State’s best team under Mullen.

  • Pay the man best coach state has ever had I mean all he has to do is bat above .500 and king Jackie is a far memory

    • Yea, like your rebels have such a great record. You must still be stuck in ’61 or ’62. Jackie also had a winning record against your rebels and Mullen is batting .800 against them now.

      • That’s the beauty of it. The only thing MSU cares about is beating Ole Miss, so they can be terrible in every other aspect, and it doesn’t matter. Very glad they re-signed Mullen. Hello MS new recruits.

  • Yeah he has a great thing goin it’s kinda funny seeing long time losers poke their chest out but I still believe he is better than Jackie
