Six different ways to catch the ‘BCS Megacast’ tonight

With the BCS era coming to a close, we get a view of how the College Football Playoff games will be shown on ESPN. You can watch the BCS Championship six different ways tonight as part of ESPN’s ‘BCS Megacast’.

Here’s a breakdown of the different channels:

  • ESPN regular telecast features Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit, with Heather Cox and Tom Rinaldi working the sidelines.
  • ESPN2 features ‘BCS Title Talk’ featuring Johnny Manziel, Tajh Boyd, James Franklin, Snoop Dog, Paul Finebaum, Rece Davis, Tim Tebow, Jesse Palmer and Todd McShay, among others.
  • ESPNews features the ‘BCS Film Room’, which will feature Kevin Sumlin and Steve Addazio, among others, who will analyze and discuss the game.
  • ESPN Classic features the ‘Sounds of the Game’, which will feature 72 microphones with audio within the stands, in-stadium and on the field. It will also include the bands at halftime.
  • ESPN3 will feature the national championship with the radio calls from both Auburn and FSU. Also on ESPN3, ‘BCS Campus Connection’ will show live fan reactions from home market watch parties of Auburn and FSU.
  • ESPN Goal Line will feature live action and immediate replays of every play. The ESPN Radio broadcast from Mike Tirico and Todd Blackledge will play, along with in-game live stats.
