NEW: Follow on facebook -

Spring football starts for all teams in the next few weeks, and before we completely turn the page to the 2014 football year, let’s look at the SEC’s final 2013 rankings.

SDS’ Brad Crawford took an unrivaled look at how the league’s 14 teams fared based on on-field success, preseason expectations, coaching stability, recruiting and program momentum.

From Auburn’s whimsical campaign to Alabama’s unexpected collapse, the Southeastern Conference displayed a flair for the dramatic during the Bowl Championship Series’ viewer-friendly final season. College football’s power league behemoth saw its streak of seven consecutive national championships snapped at the hands of unbeaten Florida State, but it did provide exhilarating last-second finishes and monster performances that won’t soon be forgotten.

SDS grades all SEC teams in 2013:

1. Auburn
2. Missouri
3. South Carolina
4. Alabama
5. LSU
6. Texas A&M
7. Vanderbilt
8. Georgia
9. Mississippi State
10. Ole Miss
11. Tennessee
12. Florida
13. Kentucky
14. Arkansas
