Policy reversal: Florida opens spring practice to fans

Will Muschamp must be a changed man.

Over the last few years, he’s been one of the most outspoken coaches against hurry-up, no-huddle offenses; however, he hired a hurry-up coordinator in Kurt Roper. Now, Muschamp, who loves locking down his team with little media or fan access, has had a change of heart regarding fan access to the program.

Florida announced it would open nine of its 15 spring practice to fans. Gator fans haven’t had much opportunity to enjoy the very limited access to the program, and in a season where winning back fans is nearly mandatory, it could be viewed as a step in the right direction.

Here are the spring practices that are open to the public, according to Gatorzone.com.

  • Wednesday, March 19
  • Friday, March 21
  • Saturday, March 22
  • Monday, March 24
  • Wednesday, March 26
  • Monday, March 31
  • Wednesday, April 2
  • Friday, April 11
  • Saturday, April 12 (Orange & Blue Debut, presented by Sunniland)
