Brown is the third assistant coach to have left Alabama during this offseason. Nick Saban hired Lane Kiffin to replace Doug Nussmeier, who left for Michigan, and he hired Bo Davis as the defensive line coach after Chris Rumph left for Texas. Director of player personnel Kevin Steele will also have an on-field coaching position in 2014.
