Golden and linebacker Darian Claiborne were suspended from spring practice following their February arrests. Golden was charged with a misdemeanor marijuana possession, while Claiborne was charged with a noise violation.

Golden, however, is expected to return to Texas A&M this summer, or at the very latest for fall camp, if he fulfills the necessary requirements.

Golden was ranked as the country’s No. 8 overall prep defensive tackle, according to 247Sports. He played in 12 games as a freshman, making 32 tackles, including three for loss.
