Franklin has been linked as a possible candidate at Texas, and now, Penn State, after Bill O’Brien took the Houston Texans’ job. Franklin is said to be in the top two for the job, along with Miami’s Al Golden, who played and coached at Penn State.

Would Franklin really take the Penn State head job? The program sounds very dysfunctional, according to O’Brien’s parting words. Franklin is very decisive, and decisions should be made quickly next week.
