Mississippi State wide receiver Jeremy Chappellee won’t return for his senior year, as confirmed by the university.
Chappelle came to Mississippi State from junior college, and he caught just four passes for 45 yards last season. He had a big showing at last year’s Maroon and White spring game, but he never seemed to progress last fall.

MSU is loaded at wide receiver, and Chappelle was buried on the depth chart behind the likes of Jameon Lewis, De’Runnya Wilson, Robert Johnson and several others. Chappelle confirmed the reason for transfer was for more playing time.
