Alabama

  • OC Doug Nussmeier left for Michigan in the same capacity.
  • Nick Saban hired unemployed Lane Kiffin to replace Nussmeier as the Tide’s new offensive coordinator.
  • DL coach Chris Rumph accepted a job with Texas and joins Charlie Strong’s staff.
  • DC Kirby Smart has been mentioned in connection with the Georgia DC job, but it will take a boat-load of money and probably a ‘Coach in Waiting’ title for Smart to make the move.
  • Alabama hired former Texas and USC DL coach Bo Davis.
  • There are reports of more coaches leaving Alabama, but none have been confirmed yet.

I think all the Bammer coaches are bailig. If Smart takes the Georgia job? Kiffin may be the Tide coach in waiting. Ugh did that come out right?

    • How dumb are you. Saban has the #1 recruiting class again. We reload one of our 7 elite QBs and keep rolling. Kiffen will last a few seasons, get some experience on how it’s done from Saban and take another HC jobe at someplace like East Arizona Community College…..

  3. Bama director of player personnel, Kevin Steele, was rumored to be headed to Louisville but that is not so. He’s staying at Bama. Welcome back Bo. We missed ya…

  4. The only change Florida need in a real head coach. Mushy is a joke.
