SEC football predictions: SIDs predict division winners, All-SEC team

South Carolina is coming off three straight 11-win seasons that involved zero trips to Atlanta. In fact, the Gamecocks have defeated the SEC East division winner the past three seasons but have found a way to lose a game they can’t afford to lose. Last year, it was Tennessee. Alabama, on the other hand, is a predominant favorite around the country for the College Football Playoff. With another loaded roster, the missing piece continues to be at quarterback, and the Tide hope FSU transfer Jacob Coker lives up to the hype. The SIDs are counting on him to be the real deal.

The Gamecocks received five first-place votes to top the East with 35 points. Alabama received five first-place votes for a total of 35 points, edging the Auburn Tigers, who had 32 total points.
