Snow hit the Southeast yesterday (hope all of you are safe!), and some cool stadium photos have emerged.

  • Great photos. If any of you have more photos of the stadiums from the past few days, send them to us on social media – @SDS on twitter and message us at facebook.com/SaturdayDownSouth

  • I sent one from Ol’ Mizzou….

    • send the one from last May where Faurot Field was about a foot deep, or the one from 2012 where it was two foot deep. In 2011 Missouri had the distinction of having the deepest snow cover in the USA under the altitude of 8,000 feet. Yup, it’s just a matter of time before a big SEC game gets played in Missouri’s deep snows. Smile, that will be a fun one for the players and media.

    • This is a funny comment, but in reality snow is fun part of winter life. I feel sorry of young people who can’t, sled, snow-ball fight, cross-country ski, down-hill ski, snowshoe in the woods, ice-skate, and see all nature’s snow artwork in drifts and various ways the snowfall sticks to trees and man-made objects. If I ever leave North Missouri I will move to a snowier place.

  • I need some help. When I post a comment the “SEC” symbol pops up, I noticed there are georgia, mizzou symbols when they post. How can I get an LSU symbol for mine?

  • This one more reason that I am glad that Missouri joined the SEC – we need some snow games every once in a while to add a little variety. I remember when the Gators clinched the SEC in Lexington, KY in 1984. It was very cold and snowing (and it got even colder when they took the championship away from us for NCAA violations).

  • It hasn’t snowed hard enough in Columbia in a couple weeks. That pic is old. I saw something about it this week that said Missouri was the only state in the US (minus Hawaii) that didn’t have snow on the ground.
