Experience is key for SEC teams to make championship runs during any given season, and although defense has taken a back seat to offenses the last couple of season, the SEC’s championship run was built upon defense.

Georgia returns the top overall tackler in linebacker Ramik Wilson, who racked up an impressive 133 total last season, but Ole Miss returns the most tackles with over 85 percent. Georgia and Mississippi State return over 80 percent of their tackles this season, while Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri and Vanderbilt all return less than 60 percent of their tackles.
