Finebaum added to SEC Nation show, first five host sites announced


The SEC Network’s College GameDay show SEC Nation added two more analysts to its team.

The notorious Paul Finebaum and former LSU defensive lineman Marcus Spears are set to join host Joe Tessitore and Tim Tebow. Finebaum was on College GameDay this past season.

The SEC Network also announced the first handful of sites for the new show, and South Carolina, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Florida and Alabama will all receive visits the first four weeks of the season:

  • Aug. 28: South Carolina (vs. Texas A&M)
  • Aug. 30: Auburn (vs. Arkansas)
  • Sept. 6: Vanderbilt (vs. Ole Miss)
  • Sept. 13: Florida (vs. Kentucky)
  • Sept. 20: Alabama (Florida)

  • I just wonder if Fbaum will be allowed to publicly kiss Nick Saban’s butt on the SEC Network?

  • this man is way too ugly to be on TV. It’s really hard to look at. And besides he is still bama biased in everything he says..

  • Jeez, what Saban turned down the job?

  • I may be the only one but I love this team of analysts. I’ve always loved Tebow, and Finebaum should add some color to the commentary. If he can talk about games objectively then great he should have great input, and if he can’t then there should be some really fun discussions. Please let him not be objective, pleeease.

    • “Always Loved Tebow”…… That’s sweet…. Have you even heard him commentate before..? Ignorance from an MSU fan. Surprised? Not so much.
