71 from SEC invited to NFL Combine

College football saw a record number of underclassmen declare for the NFL Draft this year, and 28 of them were from the SEC.

The NFL Combine is right around the corner this month on February 19-25, and players from around the country will be trying to bolster their draft stock.

The SEC has 71 invitees, and to put that into perspective, the ACC had 48, Pac-12 had 45, Big Ten had 36 and the Big 12 had 25. Alabama led the way with 12 invitees, followed by LSU’s 11.
