SDS will keep tabs on the SEC’s underclassmen who declare for the NFL Draft, and so far, several underclassmen have decided to leave early for the NFL Draft this May.

There was an SEC-record 65 underclassmen who declared for the draft last season, but I do not foresee the declarations reaching such epic proportions this season.

Many decisions will come in the near future, but here are the ones who have made public declarations thus far:

  • Chris Boyd, WR, Vanderbilt (suspended for the 2013 season)
  • Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina
  • Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
  • Victor Hampton, CB, South Carolina
  • Anthony Johnson, DT, LSU
  • Loucheiz Purifoy, CB, Florida
  • Kelcy Quarles, DT, South Carolina
  • Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee

Notables returning thus far:

  • Trey DePriest, LB, Alabama
  • Bud Dupree, DE, Kentucky
  • Za’Darius Smith, DE, Kentucky
  • Ramik Wilson, LB, Georgia
