PHOTOS: Texas A&M releases renderings of soon-to-be renovated locker room


Texas A&M football is experiencing a makeover for 2014-15. Kyle Field is currently being renovated to make it the largest SEC football stadium, and renovations will be complete in time for the 2015 season.

However, the renovations aren’t restricted to solely Kyle Field. It also spans the Bright Complex, which will also be completed in two stages for 2014-15. The training areas and locker room demolition began in early March, and the entire first floor is scheduled to be complete by the start of fall camp.

The second phase of construction, which will renovate the third floor of the complex, will begin after the 2014 season. It will include expanding and building out additional office space for coaches and staff members. You can read more about the renovation here.

Although the website doesn’t specify the next picture, it looks like a players’ lounge:


And the sweetest picture of them all features what looks like a hydrotherapy pool room with touchscreen TVs. It could double as a disco lounge. Did the Aggies just one-up Alabama’s locker room waterfall?
