Alabama is one of the only schools that has avoided jumping into the alternate uniform game with both feet.

The Tide coaches, especially Nick Saban, prefer the classic crimson and white uniforms that the team has worn for decades.

Still, it’s fun on occasion to think about what Alabama would do if it got into the uniform concept fun. A graphic designer who goes by sulphurwing6 on Instagram, did just that Thursday, releasing what no doubt is among the most creative ideas ever attached to the Alabama uniform.

First, his concept features chrome helmets with the Tide’s elephant mascot plastered on the side rather than the traditional numbers on the side of the long-time helmets, or even a script ‘A.’ It looks much better than it sounds on paper. The uniform also relies heavily on Crimson, including the pants and shoes.

What do you think of his playoff uniform concept?
