To varying degrees, both Alabama and its next opponent Arkansas are coming off victories that may have saved their seasons and may also have been their best performances of the year. The No. 8 Crimson Tide hammered Georgia to stay in the College Football Playoff picture while the Razorbacks were able to keep hopes of a bowl game reasonably alive with a victory against Tennessee. The true stars on the Alabama roster are starting to rise to the top and identify themselves while Arkansas is learning which players it can truly rely on. Here’s a look at five players to watch when the Razorbacks take on the Crimson Tide.

1. Alabama QB, Jake Coker — Coker is settling nicely as the starter and had his best game so far against Georgia. Running back Derrick Henry is going to carry much of the load for the Crimson Tide offense, but Coker must deliver when called upon. He did that last week, completing 11 of 16 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown. Similar performances the rest of the way would give Alabama a decent shot at winning out despite a tough schedule the rest of the way.

2. Arkansas DB, Henre Toliver — On that note, the best shot for the Razorbacks to pull off an upset probably comes from disrupting Coker’s rhythm and causing turnovers. Toliver might be the best bet for Arkansas to get some big plays. He’s a good defensive back in cover situations, making an interception and breaking up 3 passes this season, but he’s also effective coming on the blitz. He has 4.0 tackles for a loss, which is tied for the team lead. Alabama will have to pay attention to where he lines up every snap.

3. Alabama DB, Minkah Fitzpatrick — The Crimson Tide have a player much like Toliver in Fitzpatrick. The New Jersey native is feeling right at home down south after having a huge game with a punt block for a touchdown and a sack against Georgia. He’s getting better and better in coverage each week and disrupting offenses in a variety of ways. If he has a game like last week, it will spell trouble for the Razorbacks.

4. Arkansas RB, Rawleigh Williams — Alex Collins is the star running back on the Arkansas roster, but it’s going to take more than one back to get the job done against the Tide. Williams is coming along in his freshman season and is coming off his first 100-yard rushing game. He’s also a threat to break a deep one and more of a weapon in the passing game than Collins. If Alabama gets big pressure on quarterback Brandon Allen, he may look to Williams as a quick outlet out of the backfield.

5. Alabama RB, Kenyan Drake — Drake was one of the few Alabama players who didn’t have one of his better games against Georgia. The senior had only 2 yards of total offense after working as a nice threat to both run the ball and catch it out of the backfield most of the season. With everything else clicking in Athens there wasn’t a lot of concern about an off day for Drake, but the Crimson Tide will need a bigger contribution from him going forward.
