According to Alabama’s Rivals’ site, Crimson Tide assistant coaches received raises Tuesday.

Kirby Smart received a $200,000 raise from $1.3 million to $1.5 million, and he’s the highest paid assistant coach. Will Muschamp’s reported salary at Auburn is $1.6 million, slightly more than Smart’s. Also, Texas A&M is paying John Chavis a reported $1.67 million per season. So, Smart is the third-highest paid defensive coordinator in the SEC.

Lane Kiffin was the only Alabama coach not to receive a raise. Kiffin made $680,000 last season with the Crimson Tide.

Kiffin made a total of $3.4 million in 2013 after being fired by Southern California. It’s not like he’s hurting for money.
