Thanks to the efforts of Crimson Tide assistant Mario Cristobal, who served as lead recruiter for Jerry Jeudy, Alabama landed yet another elite prospect and gained the commitment of the four-star Florida receiver Thursday evening.

Of course Alabama is no stranger to landing elite prospects as Jeudy became the latest in a long line of elite prospects to commit to the Tide. As of late July, the Crimson Tide have 14 total prospects committed for 2017 that rank as either a four or five-star recruits.

After helping to secure the team’s latest commit, Cristobal has shot up 247Sports’ recruiter rankings list and now sits as the No. 1 recruiter in the nation for the 2017 recruiting cycle. Not far behind Cristobal is fellow Alabama assistants Tosh Lupoi (No. 2 overall) and Billy Napier (No. 6 overall):

Considering head coach Nick Saban, offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin and defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt – all excellent recruiters – are also on staff, it’s hard for any school to compete with the recruiting prowess of Alabama. With all the elite recruiters on deck, don’t be shocked when the Tide reel in yet another No. 1 overall ranked class by signing day 2017.
