According to 247Sports, Ruiz is the No. 2 kicker in the class of 2017 and the No. 21 overall recruit from the state of Arizona.
As the Crimson Tide prepare to move on from K Adam Griffith, a redshirt senior this past season, Ruiz figures to play a prominent role for years to come in Tuscaloosa.
