Alabama lands 10th commitment of 2019 cycle, a 4-star OL from Kentucky

The Alabama Crimson Tide have been on a roll on the recruiting trails recently, and that continued on Sunday afternoon.

The latest addition to the Tide’s 2019 class is 4-star OT Tanner Bowles, a Kentucky native.

As you can see in the post below, the 6-5, 280-pound lineman announced his decision via Instagram:

First and foremost I want to thank the Lord, my family, friends, coaches, and everyone who has supported me and helped me along the way. With much thought, prayer, and conversations with my family, today I am verbally committing to play football for the University of Alabama. #RTR

According to the 247Sports composite, Bowles is the No. 28 offensive tackle in the class of 2018 and the No. 5 overall recruit from the state of Kentucky.

The Tide now have 10 players in their 2019 class. Prior to Bowles’ commitment, the class ranked No. 1 in the SEC and No. 2 in the nation, per 247Sports.
