Alabama finished with the No. 1 recruiting class for 2016, but its next class took one step back on Friday.

Netori Johnson, the No. 5 offensive guard in the Class of 2017 according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, de-committed from the Crimson Tide and posted this on Twitter:

Johnson did mention in the tweet that Alabama is “definitely at the top of my list.”

The 6-foot-5, 330-pounder out of Ellenwood, Ga., committed to the Crimson Tide back in June after being recruited by then-Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart. Of course, the Bulldogs have already offered Johnson and we’ll see where he commits next.

Other SEC schools to offer Johnson include Auburn, Kentucky and Ole Miss.
