Former Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough had to wait until the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft to finally hear his name called, but now he’s ready to get to work.

The newest Dallas Cowboy has been participating in rookie minicamp, and things are going well so far. In fact, Scarbrough says he feels like he never left college.

In this video on DallasCowboys.com, Scarbrough compares Dallas coach Jason Garrett to Nick Saban and says

“He’s kind of like coach Saban,” Scarbrough said. “Just from being around the building and seeing some of the signs up — the team, the team, the team, the ball, the ball, being disciplined. It’s kind of the same thing that we do at Alabama, so I kind of feel at home.

“I kind of feel like the system is exactly the same — the play-calling, the footwork, the techniques. Don’t walk on the field. Everything we did at Alabama kind of transitioned to Dallas.”

Obviously, Ezekiel Elliott is the starter in Dallas, but Scarbrough can carve out a nice niche for himself his fall as a backup.

Since he’s comfortable with the Cowboys, it seems like he could make a quick impact as a rookie in 2018.
