The Walter Camp Football Foundation named Alabama running back Derrick Henry the Offensive Player of the Week for his incredible performance against Auburn.

Henry set several records in the 29-13 win in the Iron Bowl. His 271 yards were the most ever against Auburn in an Iron Bowl matchup, and his 46 carries were a school record and one shy of the SEC record. Henry rushed for 114 yards in the fourth quarter as the Crimson Tide clinched a spot in this Saturday’s SEC Championship Game against Florida.

Henry is the second Alabama player to earn Walter Camp National Player of the Week honors this season along with defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick after his Oct. 17 performance at Texas A&M.

This is the 12th year that the Walter Camp Football Foundation will honor one offensive and one defensive player as its national Football Bowl Subdivision player of the week during the regular season. Recipients are selected by a panel of national media members and administered by the Foundation.
