The strange post-Alabama career of former Tide running back Trent Richardson took another turn Wednesday as the former All-American was in the news yet again. This time, however, Richardson is claiming to be the victim.

According to Matt Zenitz of AL.com, Richardson and an unnamed victim have alleged that Richardson’s ex-girlfriend, Sevina Fatu, blocked their parked car from leaving a residence and proceeded to ram the vehicle on the passenger’s side. Fatu allegedly stopped when the two left the vehicle and called the police.

Fatu, the mother of Richardson’s four children, has been arrested and charged with three crimes following the incident.

This isn’t the first time Richardson and Fatu have been involved with matters that involved police intervention, as Richardson was arrested for domestic violence in Hoover, Ala., last month. In the AL.com article, Richardson denies ever hitting Fatu.
