Without a doubt, the Alabama Crimson Tide currently hold the title of Running Back U after producing one elite running back after another. While sophomores Bo Scarbrough and Damien Harris, and potentially true freshman B.J. Emmons, will continue to compete to become the next great back for the school, star recruit Najee Harris could seize the role the moment he steps foot on campus.

Currently ranked as the nation’s No 1 overall prospect by 247Sports Composite Ratings, Harris displayed his enormous talent Sunday as he put on a show at The Opening Oakland Regional.

Here’s a video of Harris putting on a nasty juke move that takes the defender to the ground, without laying a finger on the top running back:

That guy just dropped a star rating for that defensive effort.

While his ability with the ball in his hands are superb, it’s Harris’ versatility that puts him over top in the rankings. Check out his route running ability seen in this clip:

With moves like that, Harris could be the best back yet to play under Nick Saban.  The U.S. Army All-American has scholarship offers from nearly every elite football program in the country including from in-state USC and UCLA.

If Alabama can lure away California’s top 2017 prospect, don’t be surprised to see another Heisman Trophy finding its way to Tuscaloosa within the next three years.
