After huge win over Texas A&M, Alabama lands commitment from its top tight end target
Three-star 2017 TE Major Tennison was in attendance at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday to watch Alabama take down Texas A&M 33-14.
On Sunday, the big 6-foot-6, 230-pound target decided to commit to the Crimson Tide, according to 247Sports.
The high school senior announced his decision on Twitter on Sunday night:
I'm very excited to announce I have committed to the University of Alabama, God bless and Roll Tide! pic.twitter.com/URVsfwniFa

Tennison said he really enjoyed seeing the Tide pound the Aggies, even though he’s a Texas native:
“I’m not a big fan of Texas A&M and I don’t like that school so it was cool to see them get beat like that by Alabama,” Tennison said. “I loved that.”
According to 247Sports, Tennison is the No. 11 tight end in the class of 2017 and the No. 44 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
With Tennison on board, Alabama’s 2017 recruiting class now has 22 members. The Tide have the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation as of now and the No. 1 class in the SEC.
