All AJ McCarron wanted was a chance to start for an NFL team. He wasn’t going to get that backing up Andy Dalton in Cincinnati.

But now, the former Alabama quarterback is a member of the Buffalo Bills, where he’ll have a good chance to win the starting job this offseason.

On Friday morning, McCarron tweeted that he was shopping for a house in Buffalo and said he’s happy to be in his new city:

The Bills recently traded last year’s starter, Tyrod Taylor, to the Cleveland Browns, so McCarron seems to be the new starter.

Buffalo could still draft a quarterback in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, but for now, it appears to be McCarron’s job to lose.
