The No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide improved to 3-0 with a 47-23 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.

While the Tide only rushed for 76 yards, junior quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had plenty of success through the air throwing for 444 yards and five touchdowns. Fellow junior Najee Harris was on the receiving end of two of Tagovailoa’s touchdown tosses.

Harris’ 42-yard touchdown catch and run in the second quarter put Alabama up 24-10, and will be shown on highlight reels for the rest of the season.

CBS Sports provided video of the play:

AL.com, one of the leading sources for news on Alabama athletics, provided a clip of Harris discussing the play with reporters postgame:

The No. 1 running back in the 2017 class according to the 247Sports Composite, Harris accumulated 1,153 yards in a largely reserve role over the last two seasons.

Interestingly, Saturday’s two touchdown receptions were the first two of Harris’ Alabama career.

Looking to improve to 4-0, Alabama hosts Southern Miss on Saturday at 12:00PM ET.
