Alabama DB Eddie Jackson and LB Shaun Dion Hamilton won’t be on the field tonight for the Crimson Tide, but UA players will be constantly reminded to give their all for their injured stars.

Jackson has been sidelined since fracturing his leg against Texas A&M. He has remained as involved as possible, even being called a coach when Alabama took on LSU. He pinned an emotional letter to his teammates prior to the Peach Bowl, stressing how badly he wished he could help the team to repeat as national championships.

In eight games, Jackson scored three non-offensive touchdowns on a pick-six and two punt returns. He also recorded 24 tackles, including 2.5 for loss.

Hamilton suffered a torn ACL in the SEC Championship Game against Florida. At the time of the injury, Hamilton’s 64 tackles were third on the team. He also recorded two sacks and two interceptions this season.
