One of Alabama’s key offensive linemen got some good news recently, as senior Alphonse Taylor has reportedly been found not guilty of DUI following a July charge after leaving the scene of an accident.

Stephanie Taylor of The Tuscaloosa News was the first to report the news.

Taylor started all 15 games for Alabama last season but had been relegated to the second team offensive line in the spring after reporting to camp out of shape. Following the DUI charge, head coach Nick Saban announced Taylor would be suspended indefinitely.

Taylor has been allowed to practice with Alabama however his status for the season opener against USC has yet to be publicly announced by Saban or the school.
