Outgoing Alabama safety Shawn Burgess-Becker reportedly is looking to continue his college career in the Sunshine State.

According to AL.com, there’s a “98 percent” chance that Burgess-Becker transfers to Central Florida. Burgess-Becker is from Coconut Creek, Florida, located northwest of Fort Lauderdale, so he would return a familiar state for him if he joins the Knights’ program, based in Orlando.

Burgess-Becker, a former four-star recruit according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, wasn’t much of a factor for the Crimson Tide last season as a true freshman. He had three tackles and received special-teams work.
