It’s that time of the year again. Awards season is now here.

The ESPYS are an annual event that combines celebrities and entertainment to commemorate the past year in sports. The awards recognize and relive incredible and unforgettable movements. Both team and individual accomplishments are recognized.

This year, the Alabama Crimson Tide strongly represents the SEC in the 2016 ESPY Awards, which is now officially open for voting. You can vote here.

Derrick Henry and Nick Saban headline the candidates for the Crimson Tide. Henry, of course, won the Heisman Trophy in 2015, and he’s nominated for Best Male College Athlete. Nick Saban is nominated for Best Coach/Manager, and he’ll have a dogfight against Ned Yost (Kansas City Royals), Geno Auriemma (UConn women’s basketball), Jay Wright (Villanova men’s basketball) and Tyronn Lue (Cleveland Cavaliers). The 2015 Alabama team is also nominated for the best team.
