On Saturday, four-star outside linebacker VanDarius Cowan was teasing the possibility of switching his commitment from Alabama to Georgia, announcing plans for a trip to Athens before National Signing Day.

Today, Cowan canceled that visit and shut down his recruitment in a tweet that reads “No more Games” accompanied by a screenshot of a text message:

Alabama has been busy holding on to its commits recently, managing to get five-star prospects RB Najee Harris and OT Alex Leatherwood to Tuscaloosa despite rumors of potential flips to Michigan and Florida respectively.

Cowan is rated the No. 67 overall recruit, No. 4 outside linebacker and No. 13 Florida prospect by the 247Sports Composite. The Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) product originally committed to the Crimson Tide last April.
