Trio of injured Alabama players return to practice
Alabama fans can rest easy knowing that three players have returned from injury and are on their way to being ready to go for Saturday’s contest vs. Kentucky.
According to Times Daily beat reporter Alex Byington, running back Damien Harris (ankle) and wide receivers ArDarius Stewart and Robert Foster were back in action for Tuesday’s practice:
Good news on the Alabama injury front: RB Damien Harris (ankle) was back in action Tuesday, as were WRs ArDarius Stewart & Robert Foster.

Of course, Harris only did individual work during the open viewing portion of practice, didn't participate in any blocking drills w/ OL. https://t.co/ajayQGFxnj

Harris left on the fifth play of the game during Alabama’s 48-0 shutout over Kent State after the crown of Najee Murray’s helmet slammed into his knee. Saban said Saturday that Harris suffered an ankle sprain and was “day-to-day.”
Stewart sprained his knee Sept. 17 in the first half of the Crimson Tide’s 48-43 victory over Ole Miss. Three days later, receiver Robert Foster “tweaked” his knee in practice — neither were available for last week’s matchup with the Golden Flashes.
Alabama (4-0, 1-0) is a massive 35-point favorite vs. Kentucky (2-2, 1-1).
