Alabama LB Reuben Foster is lucky to still be playing in the National Championship Game versus Clemson.

On the first series of the game, the star ‘backer came in late on Clemson signal-caller Deshaun Watson — delivering a vicious blow to the head in the process.

Foster was flagged for a ‘roughing the passer’ penalty. Curiously enough, the play was not reviewed. Had it been, there’s a real chance the All-American defender would’ve been jettisoned.

Regardless, Foster remains in the game. This is immense — considering how crucial Foster is to Alabama’s success defensively.
