Former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Amari Cooper made his presence felt during his time with the Tide. Last year, as a rookie in the NFL, all Cooper did was rack up 1,070 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

In his second year now with an emerging quarterback in David Carr, Cooper and the Oakland Raiders seem to be trending upward. That trend looks even more apparent the more we see the Carr-Cooper connection evolve.

That 29-yard touchdown grab for Cooper came from Carr in a preseason game against the Tennessee Titans tonight. The game is currently being broadcasted on CBS.

Cooper’s Raiders will begin their 2016 regular season on Sept. 11 when Oakland travels to New Orleans to play the Saints.
