It didn’t take long for new offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian to endear himself to Alabama fans during Monday night’s national championship game.

In the first quarter, Sark dialed up a play for RB Bo Scarbrough and Scarbrough did the rest, weaving and sprinting 25 yards for the touchdown:

Alabama took a 7-0 lead over Clemson on Scarbrough’s run. With a defense like the Crimson Tide’s, coming back from even a touchdown deficit is a daunting task for the Tigers.

The goal-line camera for Scarbrough’s score is also fun, as it gets taken out by a sliding Clemson defender:
