WATCH: Alabama's Bailey Hemphill smacks massive grand slam to tie Arizona State in regional final
The Alabama Crimson Tide are one win away from advancing to the next round of the NCAA Softball Tournament, but they got off to a rough start on Sunday afternoon.
Trailing Arizona State 5-0, Alabama (who entered the tourney as the No. 8 overall seed nationally) cut it to 5-1 and then loaded the bases for slugger Bailey Hemphill.
As you can see below, Hemphill didn’t disappoint, launching a game-tying grand slam over the left-center field wall:

Alabama now leads 6-5 in the top of the sixth inning with a spot in the super regionals on the line.
Hemphill has been a big reason for the Tide’s success thus far, so it’s no surprise she came up with a clutch hit like this one.
