Arkansas DB Ryan Pulley has been out with an injury since Sept. 1, but he provided an encouraging update to his rehab process on Twitter Thursday.

The junior defensive back suffered a pectoral injury in the Razorbacks season opener against Florida A&M. Fans originally hoped for a minor injury, but Pulley announced following the game that he was out for the season.

It was a tough blow for the Hogs defense. Pulley played in 13 games as a sophomore and recorded 47 total tackles, 12 pass breakups, two interceptions, a fumble recovery, and one defensive touchdown. He is an experienced defender that would have had a big impact this season.

Nevertheless, Pulley appears to be staying positive throughout the rehab process. He may be gone for this season, but he will likely be anxious to play well next year. Here is a look at his update from Twitter:

Arkansas is 2-4 and still looking for its first SEC win of the season. The Razorbacks will take on Auburn this Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm EST on the SEC Network.
