Last season, the Arkansas Razorbacks suffered their biggest loss of the season at the hands of the Auburn Tigers, going down 56-3.

The Tigers ran for a whopping 543 yards in the game — an utterly embarrassing number for coach Bret Bielema an the Hogs, and one they know they need to improve this weekend when the Tigers visit Fayetteville.

Senior DB Kevin Richardson said the Hogs are very aware of last year’s failures, but want to make sure the story is different this time around (via 247Sports):

“Everybody knows what happened last year,” Richardson said. “That was last year. It’s in the past. We’re trying to look forward to Saturday and put some new stuff on film instead of having everybody remember that game. Everybody brings it up and we try to forget that.”

RB Kerryon Johnson is the featured back in the Auburn backfield this year, and he’s been having a huge season.

If the Hogs are going to turn things around and at least keep things close against the Tigers on Saturday, they’ll need to limit Johnson’s effectiveness.
